The Long Attic

It started with the roof.

An existing attic floor was recovered and divided into four independent homes, each shaped by the geometry already there.

The Long Attic is one of them: a continuous space organised around the existing slopes, new volumes and long views across the plan.

Rather than hiding the constraints of the roof, we used them to define the architecture.
